My shifter is loose. Not the knob but the entire thing. It will be in gear and i can move it around as if it were in neutral. The throws are alot longer as well. I think i broke something when i put my new clutch in. Any advise is helpful.

 

have you taken it apart yet to see if the bolt are loose or anything looks different?

 

take out the shifter lever and check for cracks. if you don't know how to do it
