Default Short Shifter

I know some of you guys have talked about the C's short shifter. Someone said to install it backwards since it is made for a right hand drive car. The actual shifter lever will not go backwards. Does the guide plate get turned over or what?

Does anyone have and idea.

Thanks

Thanks, The shifter lever leans in the right direction. It is just really tight to get into 5th. 5th is so close to 3rd that it is really hard to get into. The rest of the gears are awesome. Tight and short. Just going to 5th is really hard. easy to mis-shift. I was thinking that the shifter plate that governs the position of the shifter in relation to the gears may need to be flipped over. Some people have posted a fix to the problem but I can't find the post.
