shuttering problem
There's a lot of things that can affect idle, MAP sensor problems, clogged IAC valve, partly clogged injectors, partly clogged fuel filter, fouled primary O2 sensor, bad coils, fouled spark plugs, bad PCV valve, bad sensors. There's probably thirty things I missed.
Ok guys, I'm doing the tb cleaning and iacv cleaning to see if I can solve my problem. Ran into some problems with the tb. I've seen a thread in hear with a pic of a tb but it doesn't look like mine, im guessing the tb on the other thread is from an ap2. So do i clean mine the same way?
This is what mine looks like at the moment

Your pic is mirrored so it looks strange to me
Anyway, the MAP sensor air channel is the little cut out that snakes a long the throttle cable side then disappears into a hole. It looks like there may be some deposits blocking the inlet from inside the throttle body. Clean it out with carb cleaner or isopropyl alcohol on a microfiber rag or a q-tip. Unscrew the map sensor too and clean around where it sits.
Deposits in the throttle body don't really affect much so you don't really even need to clean inside the TB too much, just the air channel.
Your gasket also stuck on there pretty good. If you were replacing it, I'd say scrape off the old gasket with a plastic utensil, but if not, leave it there.

Thanks for the help vtec9, although doing this didn't solve my problem, it did however make my car run a bit smoother. I really think my issue has nothing to do with the engine/head. I believe it has to do with the flywheel or something under the engine considering the noise it makes. It makes kinda like a clunking noise, similar to the noise it makes when it's about to stall, and in reality it only does it when the engine is in fact about to stall but I know it can't be that. I'll keep you guys posted if I resolve the issue. Thanks again for the help.
