Default side marker glue?

my side marker popped off today after washing my car. took some paint off but luckly just under where the side marker sits. anyways, anyone know a good glue to use to hold it back on? i was thinking just some silicon, but not sure if that will hold well when washing and what not? i tried to search but couldnt find much. any suggestions?

i used this double sided tape i bought at pep boys, it's about 2mm thick and it's held up pretty good over the past two years.

3M tape works GREAT. but make sure you get a new one...it will rattle off eventually.

3m trim adhesive it will lay flat, won't come off and won't hurt your paint.

If you use silicone be sure to use O2 sensor compatible. This kind of silicone do not induce oxidation.
