simple mods - opinions on this setup?

The benefit of exhaust (besides sound) is weight. depending on what you get, you can can knock off 30 or more pounds.

beats the low carb approach

the stock intake is designed pretty well, it is designed to block off the heat from the engine bay. now you willl be sucking up hot air from the engine bay if you go with a short ram intake. if you want true gains, you will have to choose the CAI route but then you will risk hydrolocking (unless you get a well-designed system like the comptech, but it's $$$).


the stock exhaust is restrictive and too damn heavy, about 60 pounds or so.
you will free up some hp and (most importantly) lose a lot of weight. losing weight is the same thing as gaining hp, it's all about the power/weight ratio.
