My s2k my00 makes a rattle while trying to maintain speed. I let off the gas alittle it rattles and when I press the gas a little(1") it makes a rattle for a second. It is not the clutch buzz. It sounds more like a bearing but only does it with the gas barely pushed in.

Someone please help. I have OCD and this is really getting to me.
It happens in any gear while driving normal and barely pressing the throttle. It sounds like gear noise I just wounder if it is normal or not. I had it checked at Honda cars of rock hill SC and they say its normal but I just need to know if others have this?

I have the same thing, at first I thought it was my imagination. I also have a bit of a rattle when I slip the clutch, you too?

 

I get a rattle if I slip the clutch and dont give enough gas but I think that is normal. I cant figure out this noise while cruising. Anyone else have this noise like us and how to fix?

 

you gotta be more specific...by rattle do you mean the car shakes or do you hear a rattling noise?
can you pinpoint where the shake or sound is originating from?

 

Mines a rattling noise, coming from what sounds like the engine area/gearbox. It's hard to pinpoint. It's definitely in the middle front of the car area. There's no vibration associated with it at all. The clutch seems to function ok, no noticable slippage. Other than one failed launch that ended in massive burnt clutch smell I haven't had any problems with it.

edit: It almost sounds like those old plastic toy guns where you'd pull the trigger and it would make a rattling machine gun noise...Maybe tomorrow I'll be able to record some audio of it.
