i get a slight buzzing noise while i initially put some gas in gently........ seems like its coming from the tranny maybe the clutch any ideas?
sound gets more consistent the higher the gear

 

Mike, is it a buzzing or a ringing, my car has more of a ringing sound at low speed under light throttle. Again, nothing to be concerned about as much as curious to know if others have noticed.

BTW, I used to live in Cary, NC.

This is what's left of the infamous 3-4k decelleration buzz from previous generations of the S2k (and that TSB 54 fixed). The clutch plate change altered the behaviour so the resonance doesn't occur when the engine is in full compression (no gas), but you can sometimes get it to occur with some gas.

Everytime I hit it just right and hear the noise I think that the decelleration buzz is back in my car and that I'm going to need to do TSB 54 all over again So far that hasn't been necessary ...

Do you have a CAI? Sometimes air intake can sound like a ringing.
