The car is super quiet during startup. No issues, no clicking, or any other noise during cold or warm startup or while driving.
Occasionally, I'll hit vtec and then while driving hear (from drivers side front) what sounds like high pitch high paced mettalic screeching'ish noise. The noise in itself isn't loud. And only happens when I get my foot off the gas. If i give it tiny amount of gas, the noise goes away, and comes back (if I get my foot off the gas again while in gear).
The noise only comes for few seconds, and not daily.
Idles good and quiet.
Is it the Timing Chain Tensioner that needs replacing? I have read through the TCT thread, and issues seem to revolve more around idle and startups. Not while driving.
MY00.
Some Additional Information:
Noise occurs between 3-4k rpm.
These are what I will try to diagnose next time:
- Depress Clutch. (It could be clutch).

I was starting to grow concerned that I was unintentionally damaging my baby.
Thanks for your help.
