Default Solution to eps problems/power steering issues

Got my power steering fixed guys finally!!!! Do not try to diagnose the problem by replacing parts i repeat do not do it or take to a mechanic other than honda to diagnose they wont be able to without the honda computer thing. My eps system just had to be reset took it to my buddy who works at honda 15 mins later problem solved!!! If you are having problems with eps take it to honda they are the only ones who can diagnose and fix it no 1 else can i repeat no 1 else can. I bet all you guys that are having problems just need to get your eps reset by honda just bite the bullet take to honda that is experienced with s2k. trust me i have been driving with no eps for almost 2 years which pisses me off because it was a easy fix

We with proper knowledge will continue to reset the system ourselves just as the repair manual states. Been there done it.

I assure you Honda has no experience with the s2k. Any clown can plug in a SCAN TOOL with no knowledge of its workings and reset the system. Just go to EPS then RESET.

I assure you the only time you NEED Honda is to write keys.

The rest is s2ki, guaranteed.

As per the repair manual: To reset the eps, hook up the scanner and follow the prompts.

Anyone who knows how to read and push buttons can apply

Lets not kid each other into thinking you need the dealers "expertise". It doesnt exist.

Knowledge is power.

Is there a way to do it without the scanner?

I stand corrected only take your car to the dealer if your not mechanically inclined and if your buddy works there who will not charge you. You guys are right simple procedure
