sound from ignition shutoff

Default sound from ignition shutoff
Can anyone help me diagnose this sound when I shut the ignition off? At the end there is a faint "whimper." The car has the oem airbox.

=( serious question. Had left my car for some repair and this sound just appeared. Happens most of the time. Hopefully I can get some serious answers.

What was the repair? I'd check the parts that were changed or handled during that to start.

Where do you think the sound is coming from? Inside the dash or from the hood?
