Very useful. I recently changed mine but no hardware stores had denso OR NGK. I had to use bosch, which seem to work fine, my gas mileage went up, power feels unchanged, idle is smooth.

Reason for change was not mileage but was age. The plugs in there were 10 years old (literally)

And for what it's worth, for 10 years old they looked pretty damn good. Also came out of the engine without fuss.

For a tip on changing plugs.. You don't need to use electrical tape for the extension and socket. If you merely put some lateral pressure on the extension it'll keep the socket from popping off the extension when pulling up. It needs to be done in a specific direction (because of the spring ball on the extension), so if it pops off the first time, just try again.

Copper and Gold are good conductors but they require more frequent cleaning and replacing. Good if you are FI, prob not the best choice if you want a reliable low maint plug.
definitly cheap copper plugs are the way to go if it doesnt bother you to change your plugs every year (whats 30 minutes a year) copper have proven time again to provide more spark then platinum or iridium

I'm sorry but that's not a true statement.
The smaller the center electrode, the hotter the spark will be with the same volts.

That is the plug I replaced mine with in a 2004 F22. I noticed that Handa-accessories has a plug for sale that has the "Honda" brand on it. Is that an NGK plug too?

That is just the NGK oem plug shipped in a Honda box, and then the dealer can charge a different price that way.

Well, checked with 3 Autozones and 2 Pepboys, and none of them have these in stock. Guess I'll be ordering them.
