Dude, What?!

"i just bought a spoon strut bar and i have an aem cold air"
That's almost a sentence, and the only part I could figure out.

You have a Spoon STB and something from AEM.

I had an AEM cold air intake on a CRX. You don't want the powdercoated AEM intake tube to rub on anything. I've read horror stories on the CRX forums of an intake tube rubbing a small nickel sized hole in itself. Once there is a hole little bits of crap including the intake tube itself are sucked into the head.
Wedge some EPT foam or whatever it's called in there.

The Spoon Strut bar will rub when installed with the AEM intake. Its best to put soemthing inbetween to avoid direct contact.

I have the exact same setup. AEM Intake with the Spoon STB. Mine did rub when first installed. The most damage that it made on my car was it scratched the paint away on the intake. No creases, rattles, noises etc... I just stuck a small stick on 1/8" thick foam pad on the bottom of the Spoon brace and it was fine after. No more paint being rubbed away.

You can make Strut tower Spacers This will help to clear the CAI you have.

or you could attach a small piece of weather stripping to the bottom of the strut bar to avoid metal on metal contact. That shouldnt be too visible either. The spacer idea may work, but then you could run into problems closing the hood, or premature failure of the strut bar.
