Thumbs up Spring spacers

Took my front wheels off the car and noticed 4-5 hard rubber spacers about 1" x 8" on the springs. Just wondering if these should be there or if they should have been removed by the dealer? Any help?

Thumbs down

Take them off!, you will notice an immediate improvement in handling and your car won't ride so Darn hard. The guy I bought the car from drove it for 4 years with it on, and I another couple of months before I discovered these doing an oil change at my dads shop!

I figured they shouldn't be there but just wanted to make sure before I removed them. Thanks.
