Default Squeaking engine when warm!

Hey! After weeks of trying to figure out what this noise is and trying a few things, no luck!

It only happens when the car is up to temp and been run for a few miles after that. It starts only under acceleration from say 1.5-3k revs but then after a few more minutes it's all the time other than cruising speed.

It's a kinda high pitched noise that isn't constant, like a ticking.

I've already upgraded my TCT for a ballade sports one less than 1000 miles ago so it's definitely not that sound.

Today I changed the bearings in the auto tensioner pulley and the other pulley that's below that on the engine, I was hoping that would solve it but still it's there, almost worse!

Belt is new as well... So I'm a bit stuck! I've searched the forum for weeks trying to find what it could be but nothing

Thought I would make a thread to see if anyone has any idea... Really appreciate it guys! I know how helpful this forum is so i hope we can get to the bottom of this!!!

Thanks, Harry.

Its still there when the hood is up, not sure but could it be the water pump? had the belt off and the pulley doesnt move so dont know if its an internal thing?

Did you check the alternator and a/c clutch/pulley? See if they have any play. My civic's a/c clutch bearing was going bad and made a loud high pitched noise.

Not sure if we have the same noise but damn this is annoying as hell . I've recorded a video clip and created thread about this too . I have not changed the idle or tensioner pulleys yet and just a quick question for you when you replaced them did you notice anything wrong with them ? Or simply because ppl recommend to change it ? The only thing I replaced is the serp. Belt and that was it .

Hey, I couldn't hear much in your video but as I can't hear the squeak from yours it might just be dealings making an understanding healthy sound. They are sure cheap to buy and easy to replace!

I'm goin to get a new water pump I think and new coolant, it was a job I wanted to do anyway so think that's the next step! Also might check the alternator pulley when the belt is off to see how well it spins!

Like for bearing you need if your goin to do it...https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/106...ulley-bearing/

You need 6203 bearings pretty much
