i get something like this too but i would describe it as a non-mechanical chirping sound when i am on some rougher roads. my shocks are fine and i can't tell where the hell it is coming from.

Shocks will not get better with temp. Noise would be constant with any change on road surface. The most probable problem is your bushings. Lubricate the parts.

the more i listen to it (it has become more audible) the more it sounds like it is coming from almost inside my front dash. i guess it could be a front bushing? i am going to take it to a local mechanic and have someone else ride around with me and see if they can figure it out.
