Default Squeakkkkkkkkkkk

I know people post their 'noises' up here all the time and it is impossible to diagnose what it could be..but any hints would be nice

The squeak is coming from the passenger rear tire area in general. I first heard it about a week ago and then found that my tires were bald (only 7 months old) both sides...the passenger rear was more than the driver rear (the passenger rear getting tears in it..where you can see the rubber bands or whatever you want to call it. The tires were BF Goodrich G force kda's

Anyways I took to a tire place...because I need new tires now..they figured it was something in that tire that was making it squeak..because thats what it sounds like..a rubbing noise like rubber on a garage floor rolling slowly...still with me?

I put my stock tires on untill the new tires come in (in fear the rear tire might blow out and that could be bad) and the noise is still there!!!

any suggestions?/

Thank you!

Check your brake pad thickness. Could be your wear indicator squeaking.

I have the same setup man. Check and make sure that your rear shock pillars inside the trunk are good and tight.

WE have narrowed it down to either the wheel barring or the cv joint

I got the shop to fix the wheel barring first seeing that it costs $98 compared to the cv joint at $700...anyways the diagnose we used was it wasn't the brakes because the pads are fine..and when u hit the brakes the noise doesn';t go away...but when you corner hard to the one side it goes away..but when you corner hard to the other side it gets louder....anyways hopefully it is the $98 +labour expense not the $700 plus labor expense!!

Hopefully it's the cheap fix relatively speaking. Good luck!
