Starting problem..?
After I took my s2000 out of my rental garage from the winter. I jumped started it and it works now. unfortunately sometimes when I start my s2000... It takes 2 tries to get it to start. I thought it was the battery that's low so I tested it out and it was pretty low. I bought a new battery and it still happens. I also changed the oil too recently.
When I start it for the first time, it runs pretty rough like it doesn't have enough gas or something then shuts off. I started it again then it's fine.. I don't know... anyone have the same problem?
I think it's either my starter or spark plug? help me guys?

If the problem is when you first start the car and it will either run rough for a little while or run rough and die but starts and runs fine its no big deal. Its pretty common with these cars, but it should only happen when its pretty cold. It has something to do with the ECU at least with what I have heard for some reason it seems to have trouble with the cold when it first starts.
so it's a normal thing? because that's weird... none other cars I've driven before does this thing... are you guys sure?? Yeah it's been pretty cold recently still around my area like around 30 degree Fahrenheit. If you say it's the ECU then what if I restart the ECU? Would this problem stop?
It's normal. Our ECU's are smarter than other cars: They adjust timing, fuel ratio's spark durations, etc. based on weather. Unfortunately, this is 'learned' so if your weather changes alot day to day, the car will run rough based on the previous weather. Most likely, your car still thinks it's Fall when you put it away. Drive it, and give the ECU time to collect data and adjust. Problem should go away in a day or so.
