Looks like there's going to be a new king on the mountain!
Careful man, this position seems to be short lived so far.
The cutting edge in this instance seems to be very sharp.
Best of luck cjb80!!!!!!!!!

The power of the motor is limited by tuning, the turbo, and by the drive train. To put it bluntly there isn't anything more/better you can do to the motor.... we'll see how long the position lasts I guess. Keep in mind that my car will be a street car, not a drag car.

Oh, and the 730 hp figure was from a drag car, btw. The turbo was probably worth +100hp over mine, but didn't spool until ~6000 rpm.

Motor is back in, car is running with EMS now. Now we're messing with the EMS to get the fuel richened up so it will idle better.

Chris:

If you were to reproduce your setup not including the learning curve time and money.

Could you ball park the price (go high) to acheive you setup.

Thanks

I'd like to know this as well. You can PM me the info if you'd like. I'm just trying to see how much it is...my brother in law just dropped a ton of cash to turbocharge his M3 (e36). So I want to compare (since I'm in the process of getting an e36 M3 too) and try and decide on which route to take.

It's amazing the interest that has been generated, and the interest that has always been there for turbo charged S2000's. Maybe this will encourage some of the big companies to develope something for our cars. Hello Greddy!! Hello HKS!! Hellllooooooo?!?! Anybody out there?

i didn't notice so i'm gonna ask..did you close close the deck on the F20C? Do you really think a open deck, aluminum 2 liter engine is going to hold ~700HP for very long? Do you plan on rebuilding it ever 15k miles or something? People like to talk about 400HP civic motors and what-not, but a lot of them spend a lot of time not running because they blow up often. The open deck design is not a good design for high HP FI! If you haven't thought about finding a way to close the deck I would think about it if you want it to be reliable.

I'm confused, s2kpdx01, what do you mean by deck and closing it.
Thanks.
