Steering wheel & alignment problem (advice needed)

I have no idea. I've had mine come right off in the middle of a right hand turn which believe me is a shocker but I am pretty sure it was my own fault. I think it's pretty rare considering it isn't mentioned much if at all. You need to de-couple the steering linkage each time you lower the front subframe (clutch/transmission/engine swap). It's important that it be put together again properly for obvious reasons.

Thanks. Looks like I have to add that to my "to be inspected before track" list.

I have a checklist I go over before each track day.

You might want to share that list. It could serve as a starting point for others doing the same or at least a cross reference for those who also have such a list.
