strange noise help plz

about how much was yours to replace? any ideaswhy it would go bad to prevent future problems?

If your axle nut isn't properly tightened, over time it can cause bearing damage. That was my guess since I had the typical axle nut noise too.
Just the bearings would have been about $600 but since I had to have the left hub assembly replaced it cost me about $900. This was right after I had the clutch master cylinder replaced... Wasn't very fun seeing I had the car less than a week.

well i had the car checked out and repaired. it ended up being the wheel bearing and axel nut. overall price came out to just under 700. up until now the car is running great.

thanks to all for their opinions and sugestions.
