Default Strange Noise - I will try to describe it

Ok I will do the best I can to give you all the information.

When I'm up to speed 40+ I hear this dry noise coming from the front (I think) of the car. This is a constant noise that does not go up or down with RPM or Pressing in the cluch. Its basically constant in sound but louder the faster I go. Again this is a dry sound, not a squeek or hiss or high pitch. Kind of like sand in a gear. I hear this with the top up and windows closed. I can't hear it with the top down or even one window open. It is definatly coming from the front of the car as best I can tell.

I have an AEM CAI and I have just put on some new Kumo's on the rear in Jan. I don't feel that its the Tranny or the Eng as it does not fluxuate with engine RPM or Clutch movement and my car drives and shifts just fine.

I plan on changing the oil this weekend and also the Tranny/Diff. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated and thanks much in advance.

If it is coming from the front and is solely dependent and variable with road speed, then it has to be in the wheel area. It could be brake related, wheel or bearing related.
If it's your brakes, see if the noise can be altered by a light to moderate depression of the brake pedal but maintain speed with your throttle.
If it is wheel bearing, you "might" be able to change the tone or frequency (while maintaining the same road speed (with throttle) if you do a moderate turn to one side and then to the other. Loading each bearing will tell you which one it is if indeed it is a wheel bearing.
ps. You'll need lots of space to try this out, so be safe.
It could also have something to do with your ABS sensors rubbing the wrong way. Another thought that comes to mind would be that you picked up something on or in your wheel that is causing a noise as the wheel spins through the air. Check for loose wheel weights as well. Are there any irregularities in your front tire treads?

OK, I'm tapped out.

Ok tried all your suggestions and nothing happened to change the noise. I will keep listening to see if I can get it to change or if it gets louder.

I might give some idea eventhough I am not a technician or whatsoever.
I remember my friend's car once has annoying noise once it's moving and the noise is happened when moving also, so he end up bring his car to dealer and it's the noise from the brakes. the technician over there said his brakes (I think brake pad) has some kind of safety measurement when it's wear out it's gonna make a constant and annoying noise when moving.

hopefully this helps and you can fix your problem as fast as you can

This would be the "audible wear indicator" on our brakes. However, it tends to make a high pitch squeal when it happens.
