I had a line from my oil relocation kit bust off and the engine started rattling. I immediately Filled the oil back up but the engine still rattles. I replaced the lost motion assemblies and the engine still rattles. I have full oil preasure.

WHY IS IT MAKING A RATTLING NOISE?

 

Your crank and rod bearings are probably shot. Time for a new motor.

 

what type of rattling noise is it ? it could be the timing chain slaping the timming chain case because you went low on oil it caused the tensioner to wear the guide and now the chain isnt getting full tension from the tensioner and it has slack . how low on oil did it go?
