RPM's would be lower if you stroked the car (no longer rev to 9K)

dude, who the hell told you that Extrude honing is garbage? you should hang them from a tree.
you might not see gargantuan gains on a stock motor, but you certainly will if you add some good ol forced induction.

If anyone extrude honed any piece of any engine I owned (even the tractor), I'd hang THEM from a tree.

I've been porting heads for over 15 years. Not for a living, but for fun. Extrude honing works well for people who don't know what they are doing and its shortcomings are minified with FI, but I'll take a well ported head any day over an extrude honed one.
