You can either buy it and install it as per the instructions and trust that it is running safely (and that's fairly safe) or install some management and get it tuned properly.

I'd recommend minimum of an E-manage and if you can spare the cash, an AEM EMS.

The V-AFC is very limited. The AEM EMS is the way to go IMHO. I've been running one for the last 8 months and it does allow greater power to be developed safely. It allows you to change injectors, move timing, customize the knock sensors, even set up traction control.

I rode in Sideways car recently and from what I could tell, it ran like a champ. Very smooth. His car is also not your typical SC application. He's had more work done so it was impressive to see it run so nicely.

V-AFC is a toy. It's only A/F control is by adjusting the MAP sensor and as this is already maxed and clamped it doesn't make much sense.

The E-manage can drive injectors directly and control ignition. That's a good start. But the AEM is the ducks guts.

Keep in mind, Kyo, that all you really need to do after the SC is installed is take your car to a place that does dyno tuning. They'll look at your A/F ratios and adjust the Comptech fuel pressure regulator to keep you in the safe range.

I'm going the EMS route now (after a year or so of happily supercharged miles). If I had to buy the SC, Aftercooler, EMS and Injectors + Tuning all at the same time I would have probably been scared off from the price (I also did ACT clutch, Comptech Flywheel and reinforced diff.).

If you're going to run an aftermarket exhaust and header, though, you NEED to get an AEM EMS as the FPR can't pump enough fuel to keep your ratios right.
