I'm completely ignorant when it comes to cars...so I'm still in the process of learning about them. But could someone explain the difference between the Super AFC and the VAFC? I'm probably going to be getting a Vortech Supercharger in the near future and was wondering which would be better to use to tune with. I tried using the advanced search function, but I think it's still down and the regular search is coming up with different topics.

Would anyone recommend the eManage (Greddy I think) or the AEM EMS over the two mentioned above?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

SAFC is designed for cars without Vtec, while VAFC is for Vtec equipped vehicles. Vtec Air Fuel Controller because it can adjusts Vtec engagement point. A totally worthless feature on non-Vtec equipped vehicles.

 

So in our case it'd be benefical to have the VAFC? That's good to know. I'll have one of those ordered when I order my kit.

 

You may want to consider getting one of the harnesses too (as opposed to splicing into the stock harness).
