i have an 03 ap1 s2k an twice i noticed my temp gauge go frm half ways like 3 bars to full bars with the red bar an it made my car drive a little rough? could anyone give me some insight on what might be happening thanks

 

bump leme know what other info anyone might need to help out cuz i was kinda vague.

 

have you checked the coolant level? If level is fine, thermostat "could" be getting stuck closed.
