Default TEST PIPE w/o CEL on?

Im looking at getting the t1r test pipe for my s2k, but im concerned about the CEL always being on. i dont mind looking at it but im worried that if a real problem occurs i wont know it, because the light will be on anyways. has anyone else found this a problem, or maybe found a way to trick the computer? any info would be great. thanks.

Cut the O2 sensor off and replace it with a 10watt 15 ohm resistor.
Thats what I use and have not got a CEL.

no there is a much easier way, go to autozone and buy a set of 18MM spark plug defoulers, it basically pushes the 02 sensor back out of the exhaust flow causing no cel, there was a pic somewhere.

Or just get this test pipe. That's what I did.
