This is what the "mechanical O2 simulator" is. This is also what the original poster linked to in his opening post.

An older ford V8 spark plug will fit in the hole. Put a plug lead on it and hide the other end away out of sight. It will mess with the brain of anyone who notices it. The thread is a M18x1.5mm

Chris.
that is funny as hell. You could run the bare end of the wire to the rear shock extrenal resevoir to really screw with people.

Or even better, at a car meet, pull the plug and start complaining about your "fouled" plug.

You can do a few different things.. the first which i highly recommend is the spark plug fouler trick. I use that with my test pipe & it stops a CEL. The other is purchase a cheapo o2 sensor from advanced auto... i got one for a 87 chevy truck i think... cost me $18!
Last option is to go to advanced auto parts and look around the oil drain bolts... get the 18x1.5 bolt. That will plug the hole. However, do NOT use the washer, its nylon & will melt very fast and then allow the bolt to back out (i speak from experience). Its also a good idea to go ahead and get some high-temp lock-tite (red stuff) and put that on the bolt to ensure it doesnt back itself out. Even though the lock-tite can only handle 300 degree's and our cat gets much hotter than that.. it will still help out a bit.
