Default Test for Wheel Bearing

Guys, I've got a fairly faint but noticeable whirring noise on the highway which from the driver seat anyway seems to come from the right rear. I notice it occasionally around 35-45 but mainly at 70-80. I've tried jacking up the corner but there's no free play in the wheel. What else can I do to determine it's the wheel bearing?

Left to right test, the sound will go away when the wheel is unloaded.

Not changes shifting lanes, noise is still present. I just want to make sure it's definitely not the bearing before I start messing with the diff or swapping tires.

Try a large empty parking lot and do long left or right turns, or figure 8's.

On my car I have found that the noise was noticeable when the bearing was hot after ten miles or more and at speeds of 20 - 35 mph. Although the dealership always wanted to test up on a rack I found it only made much noise when loaded so nothing they ever found. It may have made noise at speed but not enough to identify over the overall noise of my car.

Had a friend ride shot gun and he heard it from the left side of the car. Thinking it might be the diff. It did seem to start after swapping cv buckets, but I'm not sure how that could contribute. I can hear it right at 36mph goes away for a bit, comes back faintly at 65 and then gets really loud at 80. That said with the top down I can't hear it at all.

Try some different wheels/tires if you can. I had a similar issue and it was just noisy tires resonating at certain speeds

Trying to get a set, but I think it's too loud to be tires.
