Soak with Liquid Wrench/PB/or similar. Put a good socket on it and use some muscles. If it doesn't come out, it's frozen on and you can either cut it off, or try using a nice big impact gun.

Those bolts are a bitch. Use a "ghetto" pipe. Slide a long pipe over the ratchet handle. This creates a lot of torque with little effort. Worked for me. Good luck.

thankyou for the responses everyone!
special thanks to my gf and my buddy who helped me install this... i brought in my buddy today to try and get the bolt off i told him to "prove his manly-ness and take that shit off" well we ended up going with the rubber mallet from wal mart.. 2.97+tax and it got the bolts off with no problem

now i'm happily polluting the air with my emissions. i feel a slight bit better pull and i'm not throwing a CEL yet (knocks on wood). the sound is similar to blowing through a hollow pipe... well duh... the test pipe is essentially that. someone confirm this sound with me. after the install i listened for hissing sounds which would be air leaks but did not hear any... so guys... am i good with this?

negcamber- i love harbor freight i got my tools from there

EDIT: to add to this if someone is reading this and cares about the weight, i did weigh it. stock cat is 10 lbs and the invidia 70mm test pipe with 2 antifoulers are 4 lbs. if you want proof i have pics.

The key is PB Liquid Wrench. Spray...wait a few hours..then spray...wait about 15 minutes. All bolts come off very easy.

WD 40 does NOT work.

I know you already got your test pipe on but if it is not too much of a hassle you should take the bolts back out and throw some anti seiz on them. That way if you ever have to remove them, they should come off pretty easy... I am a anti seiz whore, especially on exhaust systems...

dont just listen for an exhaust leak as i didnt know i had one by sound. when the car is cold, start it up, run around and feel around the piping on all sides to ensure all the gaskets sealed properly.
