Thinner head gasket
The advantage of running a thinner head gasket is if you somehow warp the head, you can mill the head, put in an OEM head gasket and still be at the same CR. Once you mill, you can't take it back.
i see your point to
power gains, head gasket alone whould be nothing, but whould help out other mods, like a good intake/header/testpipe/exhaust, with the hi comp headgasket whould be nice, and some nice gears, thats all id do if i had an S, plus while your in there arp headstuds and arp rod bolts, and youv got a nice strong motor you can beat on

with a few other mods it'd be a nice n safe increase in power, from there it's in the tune.Only other thing I'd add is a warped head MIGHT be fixed....it all comes down to how bad the warping is.

Dont you get small timing issues from milling? Or do you replace the timing "chain" when you do this also?
). I suspect the impact of such changes will be within the margin of error of most dyno measurements, so it probably won't be worthwhile for the level at which I'd be competing.
