Any thoughts on how long you can leave an S2k on stands WITHOUT wheels before creating any issues. I know it has been debated for years that it isn't ok for storage purposes, but I am working on a few projects over the winter and it is easiest to just leave it on the stands. I removed the wheels to take some load off. Does anyone see any issues with leaving it for a couple months like this?

 

I had my AP1 on stands for about three months and didn't notice any ill effects. I had 6 stands on it overall I believe, one on each jack point and then one more on each front corner. Those jack points are reinforced and its my understanding that they are made to prevent damage. You could always also use a floor jack on the rear diff and oil pan to give it more support and less load on each corner.

I wouldn't leave it on, say, two jack stands, one on the driver side front corner and one on the passenger side rear corner for any amount of time..

 

I have left my car on 4 stands from November to April for 3 winters. I do this whenever I have lots of projects lined up. I saw no ill effects from doing this.
