I remember reading something,a couple years ago,about throttle linkage cable adjustment.
Search function is useless,right now.
How many milimeters,or inches (fractions of inches ),of loose ,should it be adjusted to?
Right now,mine seems to be about 1/2"loose.
Is that too much?

Helms manual has the info. 1/2 an inch is close to factory setting, many people tighten it up a bit, say to 1/3 of an inch or so. Just make sure that when the pedal is released, throttle sets back to fully closed position.
I made the adjustment years ago, but it did not make a significant difference IMO. If you are happy with your current setting, I'd say leave it alone.

 

Page 11-121, Helm. 4 - 6 mm is correct. Not sure where the 1/2" came from. That's double the amount of slack called for.
