Default Tick noise from under the car

Start the car no problem, put it in 1st let go of the clutch (Tick). shift to second, (Tick). then thats it.. some times down shift to second (Tick). It sounds like a relay or such. I hear it on the driver side seems right under me. Pretty loud with the window down. I have notice the car does not have the HP with i hear the tick, but other times, like this morining, no tick and i was pulling, but when the tick came back . I would only feel the power when i hit vtec. Basically rev up not feeling any tq untill vtec then a little kick. any ideas?

Could be rear diff about to go...
Could be catalytic converter possibly....
MORE than likely, could be rear diff or AXEL NUT.

If it's a deck of cards type constant ticking it's the Timing Chain Auto Tensioner.

If you research under the hood etc/ search on here, I'm absolutely certain you will find solution to your problem.
