Timing chain
So I was on the dyno today with the turbo S and eveything was going smooth for about 15min. Then chink the shit hit the fan. Motor started making a clicking noise and thought i was in trouble again. But after getting a fully built motor didn't think it was the internals. The car wouldn't crank. Removed the cover and there is either a knick or kink in the timing chain. Everytime it hits the knick the cams pop. Has anyone else ran into this problem before? What was the cause?

Any chance you damaged the timing chain re-assembling the motor? That's about the only thing that comes to mind if there's actually a kink in the chain.
Either than, or perhaps as xviper said, the tensioner failed, and after the timing chain skipped a few teeth it put a kink in itself.
