any one got the torque settings for the TCT unit too the block mines got a slight weep ?

These are 6 x 1.0 mm bolts so the torque is 8.7lpf-ft. (See the Service Manual.)

8.7 ft of torque is what I did my b sports to it's also OEM spec

Bolt torque is not the cause of any leak here. It is most likely the VTEC valve gasket, and oil is coating the TCT.

If you're going to check the VTEC gasket note the bolts there are the same and use require the same torque.

Can't. Bill is referring to the VTEC gasket.

Have a new gasket in hand before removing the unit.

ahh ok cheers do the gaskets need to be greased beforehand or are they dry seal only ?

I had Ballade TCT and after Billman pulled it out he showed me the clear wear marks of spring binding up and eating away/groove of missing metal on one of the pins. It was pretty f’n sh!tty to see since I spent the money on their product and was horrified to see material missing inside of it. I had maybe 10K on it.

Ballade tensioner might be redesigned by now but be aware and if you have Ballade’s model pull it apart and inspect or play it safe and get Billman’s tensioner.
