Default Timing Marks double check

Hey everyone,

I just want a sanity check on my timing marks. This is the first time I've removed the camshafts (valve seal replacement) so I just want to make sure I got the timing correct - I think it's good but as a first timer I'm still nervous!

Cam timing marks before I removed everything:

Crank shaft marks (note that to get the cam marks to be flush with the head, the crank mark was a little off):

And now after I put the cams back on (note the cams are not tightened up yet so that's why they are not fully seated into the gears):

Crank marks:

Thanks!

good luck with this. most likely going through the rings. using mobil 1 15w50, mixing half of that with half mobil 1 0w40, has helped me considerably.

Thanks, fingers crossed it's not something in the bottom end!

Buttoning the car back up this weekend, hope to have it running by next week; we shall see.
