No work today, so I will try again, any more insights on that brass bracket under the dampener?

Could I leave it off ?

I know a lot of Carolina S guys on the forum and none of them know.

Sorry guys!

I found out that AP1 rails do not have that brass colored fitting that the dampener goes onto. I was told it was put there to keep the fuel line from moving side to side.

I should be able to leave that off of the polished fuel rail. Going to buy a 22mm wrench tomorrow. Only have up to 19mm.

Thanks for everyones help.

An adjustable wrench would work if you don't have a 22mm wrench.

Got it changed out last night. Not too bad at all. I have driven it 3 times since I installed the new rail and no leaks so far. It seems to be working well. The gauge reads about 35-38 psi during idle. Is that pretty normal? I just want to see if the gauge is accurate.

Thanks for everyones help!
