My body shop replaced one rear wheel with a front rim after an accident. I was rocking a 6.5 and a 7.5 rim on the rear for a week. car handled like hell so I replaced all the tires at discount tire. The "tech" noticed it immediately and informed me. The body shop played it off like it wasn't their fault. LOL.

I put the spare on the front it said in the post. I feel that I shoudl get half off because if I was a little old lady who did not know anything about cars I would have gone to honda and ordered a $400 rim because they said it would not fit. I went with 225 I am still not sure about the S02 foolishness? anyway tomorrow here I come

The oem s02 are marked 225 but are the size of a 245...so, just curious.
is that why a 225 looks small on the rear rims?

If you replace the rear tire it needs to have the same tread width as the S02, no the sidewall width, 225. The S02 has a really wide with when mounted to a 7.5" rim so therefore the rule of thumb is to always use a 245. however you should always call tire rack and check the tread widths.

The Bridgestone Potenza S-02 is not the only 225 width tire that has a 8.5" tread width.

Tirerack didn't list the tread width for this tire, so simply just measure the tread width yourself, then make your own educated decision.

I know the car is staggered with different tires sizes for the rear and front. However, this pertains to only the differences in tire sizes or are the actual alloy wheels different sizes too? All four wheels are exactly the same right?
