Default track day coming up

just found out that im going to the strip on sunday with a few buddies.

Ive been meaning to change my diff and tranny fluid because i bought the car used and am not sure when the last time it was done. so my question is should i change them before i go or wait until after?

im assuming that new fluid is always better than bad, but a couple of my friends have told me to wait because old fluid would be "broken in" and better for the harder conditions?

I tried search...

thanks guys

Man, that's some stupid advice. That's like saying you should eat shit because it's already "broken in".

You getting ready to beat the crap out of the car. I think some new fluids are a worthy investment. You may want to change the Dif fluid when you come home also too clean any new metal chips off the magnet.

Well...it would be much easier to digest since someone's done most of it for you.

Nothing wrong with the post. You just need new friends.
