Everyone here failed to mention the most important factor(s) regarding gauges, and its not cosmetic , :

1. Accuracy of readings

2. Reliability of gauges

I too am considering adding a oil temp and oil pressure gauge but what I want to know is the accuracy readings of the mentioned gauges. How accurate are they? To 1/10, 1/100th etc. What tests have the manufactures conducted to measure this? Have they measured Reliability?

This should be foremost before any fashion statement, which are really only important for mounting.

Anyone have this data handy?
