And if you go from GM to Amsoil, its another world of difference.

P.S. I do not work for, sell, or have anything to do with Amsoil.

To all the guys using GM and redline....do one tranny change with Amsoil, and you will be a convert.
Hmmm, I may very well do that... No problems with GMSMFC, but I've repeatedly heard good things about all Amsoil products...

Ive used GM. I like it, but it wears off too soon. After 3000 miles or so, the notchiness comes back. Amsoil, never a problem. I use LE in my diff (used amsoil before it) and dont really notice a difference. But I know LE is good, so Ill keep using it. Ive had other s2k drivers drive my car, and are amazed at how smooth it runs, "Like its running on double cream."

Give them a shot, you wont be disappointed. I use their oil filters as well.

My oil with the AMSOIL Filter was pretty clean until recently i hit 6k miles. Which is pretty good. I think im going to change back to OEM to see how long that would last.

I know I'm completely stupid but I accidentally used Mobil 1 75W90 in my transmission around a year ago and didn't really realize that that wasn't for the transmission. However, my shifting is silky smooth and I never grind shifts anymore. It works extremely well, although I'm not sure if it's actually causing "damage" or not so I don't recommend it
