just turned 25k... I just changed the GMSMFM I had just under14k on it No problems.
$10 for fluid is cheap... lack of changing it could be 2-3k in new trans

look into changing the Diff also - LE-607

Friday was Molile 1, GMFMSM and LE-607 ... Fluids are cheap... componts are NOT

I had mine replaced 1 time at the Honda House with OEM. Seems like around 7500k later it is starting to feel notchy once again. Car has 14,500 on the clock so it seems that in Texas heat 7500 is about what the OEM stuff will last.

I want to try GM Sychromesh, unfortunatley they only sell the non-friction modified one.

Has anyone tried it?

Amsoil MTF is the best you can use on the s2000. Ive tried them all. Amsoil makes the tranny run like butter, and MUCH more evident with 1st/Reverse. Safe for brass as well.

It is a direct replacement for Honda MTF.

Might be a stupid question, but do the local GM dealers usually stock the friction modified fluid? Anyone know the weight? Cost? Part number? Thanks
