I use 1 full quart of Redline MTL and fill the remainder of the tranny with Redline MT-90.. As MTL seems a bit too thin. With my mixture my tranny works amazingly and lets me run the redline I prefer.. I get zero notchiness and MAYBE one 1st-2nd grind every other month.

I am very tempted to try the Amsoil however.

I can't remember off the top of my head how much fluid the tranny takes. Its more than one and less then 2, right? Its been a while since I put fluid in.

To all the guys using GM and redline....do one tranny change with Amsoil, and you will be a convert.

Stick with OEM...Notchyness can be attributed to the OEM fluid needing to be changed.
Sometimes I think you get paid to say this stuff

I may give it a try as well. Sure MTF works great if you change it when you change your oil.

GMSMFM is not bad. But I like amsoil so why not give it a shot.
