New fluid for transmission and diff.
Ok, so I am having an issue. I have no problems with grinds at any rpm or pop outs. When I drive on the hwy for x amount of time in 6th gear after getting off the hwy my 3rd and 4th gears are very sticky. Just 3rd and 4th nothing else. Now when I say sticky I mean hard to engage. Almost like they are trying to shift in some crazy high viscosity. They will engage but it takes more force then normal. It only lasts for a short time after getting off the hwy. But I am interested in finding out what could be causing this. I tried Google and can not find anything similar to my issue. My transmission has been taken apart by the previous owner, no records as to why. Any input would be awesome!
Thanks Titus

someone's going to ask, so.. what fluid did you use... Honda MTF... that's about all there is to it...
in an Ap1 transmission it uses a non carbon fiber synchronizers, supposedly those were put into the Ap2 design because of some transmission complaints which sounds sort of like what your experiencing... and maybe he had it apart to replace them previously.. who can say...
when my Ap1 transmission started giving me grief, I replaced it with an 04, which was the first year to get the upgraded synchronizers.
