tuned ECU's Vs Check engine lights!!!
OK here is the problem,
Spoon's ECU or any other ECUs ect... will give the car more power, but once I put the ECU in, the check engine light comes up, which means the car is running safe mode, and loose power also.
Are my right?. how could we solve this problem? bypass? and how?
thanks ppl.

I'm pretty sure that Spoon and Mugen ECU doesn't have any support for OBD II, thus no chance of check engine light ever coming on.
Mugen ECU also doesn't detune the engine when the IAT or coolant gets hot unlike the stock ECU.

What 9906 said. don't know where you got your info from but you don't get any CEL with the Spoon or Mugen ECU. So the car doesn't run in safe mode or loose any power that would kind of defeat the purpose of spending a $1000+.
