Turbo Install
The oil filters themselves have a bypass valve built into them to prevent oil pressure from being too low. Not to mention that once the return line goes back into the engine, the pressure goes back to the same because the oil passages are still the same width --which is what counts. Plus the oil pressure light is a dummy switch...you would need almost no oil pressure for that to occur. I'm with the pins in the rockers for the vtec actuation.
Any updates Todd? Also I did talk to John and he mentioned that the oil feed line wasn't at a direct 90 degree angle. Do you think it is this? I started this thread for some hope that your car will be done soon. Goodluck man.
I had them run a smaller diameter line , and bypass the relocation kit. No more Oil pressure problem. So now they are going to get the right size lines.
Now they have a problem with the rev limiter set on the AEM computer. It is kicking in at 7200 RPM.
I am having them put the stock ECU in to check that this is just a programming issue with the computer, and not a mechanical issue. If this works, then we are going back to the Dyno and complete the tuning and fix the rev limiter issue.
