Default Unique Idle regardless hot/cold

Hello I recently swapped out the clutch by myself and have had an abnormal issue with startups. The whole process of the swap was flawless except the o2 sensor. i somehow got the o2 to break or electricuted so i have been meaning to replace it. so cel light is on and i got it checked and its only the o2 sensor. so the problem here is the startup. how it starts is the rpms become real rough and it sounds like its grinding (i have found a similar sound/case on youtube and will link at bottom). this problem started maybe like a week after the clutch swap. i was thinking maybe the o2 sensor was making the engine hesitant in giving the amount of air flow and such but i only heard of those incidents and super rare. another idea was that the clutch wasnt gripping but no that was just a retarded idea... so when i drive when it is at this idle the car jerks A LOT like acceleration and such dont match up as well and it suddenly gases and such making it not really in my control. LUCKILY this idle does go away but takes a while... like a gooood 8-10 minutes. still quite long. and afterwards car drives perfectly. but this happens at every COLD startup but occasionally during warm/hot startups (meaning i just drove it and parked and came back and started it, so the engine is still at the good warm temp). this is an '02 s2k. ive read up on cleaning out the throttle body, iavc??, and possibly a sensor cleaning (map whack???). i was wondering if this issue is a bit out of reach in terms of mechanical experience and i should seek professional help. also the roughness (the grinding-like noise) settles and it does not come back until next startup basically.

maybe other relevant thing to mention.... speedometer flickers a bit when ac is turned on. battery was switched at 90k and never really noticed this prob. wiring to alternator seems intact and been running on this issue for a bit and car hasnt had a prob with startups or dying on me. thanks and hope to hear back from you guys soon

in case link doesnt work. the video is called s20000 idle problem 3 i believe

and this roughness is only SIMILAR but mine seems to be rougher and more of a grind that ranges from rpm 1000-1300

Air bubbles in the coolant causing the ECT and iacv to go crazy? Did you bleed it properly?

There is no point in trying to trouble shoot your idle problem if you know your O2 sensor is not working. Fix what you know is broken first.
