Default Urgent Clutch problems

Hey guys,

I just got home now after an eventfull drive in the S2k. Not sure where to start really but I got a 99 S2000 with 80K KM on the clock. Had some problem with the clutch slipping initially after which honda installed a new OEM clutch for me under warrenty. I've done about 1500KM since then and I got more clutch problems ! I just barely made it home tonight. Was getting onto the freeway after a long drive stuck in traffic. As soon as I started accelerating in 3rd gear the clutch started to slip so bad that I thought it wasnt even engaged... I put it in 4th and again more slip ! I eventually got to 6th and managed a conastant speed but as soon as I touch the pedal to accelerate it just slips. Also noticed over the last fwe weeks that the longer I drive in traffic the higher the contact point on the clutch feels. So the pedal keeps moving up and up... to the point where the clutch only engages almost at the top of the pedal travel. As soon as I let the car cool down overnight and drive it again in the morning the clutch contact point is back down to about 3/4 -1/2 way mark then it slowley moves up and up again ! I dont understand whats goin on ? Any ideas ? could be master or slave cylinder ? I havent noticed and fluid leaking from anywhere though... HELP ! I have it booked in for honda to look at but I'm sure once I let it cool off over night and take it tomorrow morning it will eb working fine again ! I cant seem to replicate the conditions in which it starts to slip so badly.... All I can think of so far it happens after LOTS of start stop traffic. Anyone mechanically minded can add to this ?

How does the clutch pedal feel at the top? Stiff? Or is there some play?

try looking in the cabin underneath by the clutch pedal as well, maybe the piston on ur master cylinder could be leaking. mine was but didnt cause slippage issues

Possibly operator error? One clutch replaced at under 50k miles, and the replacement slipping in about 900 miles...

I dont think theres anything wrong with the clutch itself. I drove the car this morning and it was like new again. Engagment point was back to half way and no signs of slip under any circumstances. however by the time I got to honda this morning to drop it off, the engagment point was back up between 3/4 of the way and the top. Still wasnt slipping like yesterday though. but had I been in traffic for too much longer I think it would have started to go again... I'm thinking slave cyclinder at this point.. as I've also noticed the higher the engagment point the stickier the clutch pedal feels...
