Well the Nitron Sports I bought that were apparently universal didn't fit my 04 or my 06!

The fronts have had helper springs fitted and the rears have been shortened by 40mm

Thanks for the useful info...I just traded my 00 Silverstone for an 06 Rio last Sun. Still getting used to the car and looking around for info, especially from those who have upgraded from an early model. I can tell already that the car drives differently - just need to get used to it!

Two other changes on the MY06:

1. We all know about the different ECU, but did you know you can only use the Honda xxx scanner? You cannot use an aftermarket OBDII scanner.
2. There is only one cam timing sensor. PY models had two.

You can use aftermarket OBDII scanner as long as they are extended CAN ready.

I left my gas cap loose the other night, and did not get a check engine light. Just a warning "Check Gas Cap" on the maintenance minder window.

On the 2005 MY and up horsepower thing - I notice that the S2000 is now LEV-2 rated - I wonder if the new calibrations have affected "real world" power delivery. If anyone can point to back to back to back 2004 - 2005 -2006 dynos, it would be interesting to see how the curves look. Peak HP is one thing - very often emissions calibrations actually affect the low and midrange power more, since when the car goes WOT, emission calibrations are bypassed.
LEV-2 is probably achieved through the DBW system. Among other things, I've noticed on all DBW cars I've driven that when you left off the throttle abruptly (especially when cold, or if you lift off @ WOT), the engine will keep the throttle body open a fraction of a second longer to make sure the extra fuel dumped into the cylinders is burnt off. I'm sure that alone would be enough to secure a LEV-2 certification.
